Stridelands (formerly Farwalk) is an iPhone app made by Valya AI Corp. Your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These terms add a few points that are specific to Stridelands. Where the two differ, the Standard EULA applies.

Stridelands Plus

Plus is offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. Eligible annual subscribers can use a free trial; any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription. You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Health and exercise

Stridelands shows your own workout distances as progress on a virtual journey. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Arrival forecasts and other figures are estimates. Exercise within your limits and talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme.

Virtual routes are not directions

Journeys follow real roads on a map, but you travel them only virtually. They are not navigation, travel or safety guidance. Routes, famous journeys, places, weather, elevation and street imagery come from Apple Maps, Apple Weather, Wikipedia and other sources, can be out of date or wrong, and do not account for closures or conditions. Do not use them to plan or make a real trip.

Content from other services

Maps, imagery, weather, articles and photos shown in the app belong to their owners and are provided under those owners' terms. Weather data is from Apple Weather. Place articles are from Wikipedia under their stated licences.

Your data

Your journeys, notes and photos stay on your device, and in your private iCloud database if you turn on iCloud sync. We do not receive them. The Stridelands Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are noted in the app or in the App Store release notes.
